Thinking about health care delivery from an economic or financial management point of view is very difficult for most clinicians because historically this content has been omitted from their educational programs. However, nurses who work in management roles in health care organizations and advanced practice nurses who work in practice groups need to have a working knowledge of these issues. This assignment provides students with case studies and an opportunity to explore and critique economic/financial literature.
Each student is expected to :
1. Read the assigned chapter(s),
2. Find one additional peer-reviewed, economics-focused article from on-line sources, and
