Write a short (500-word minimum- 750-word maximum) paper on the NURSING theory you feel most connects to you and your practice. It must be a nursing theory and not one from a related field. Discuss an experience you had as a nurse that was particularly significant to your development of nursing identity. Pick one of these experiences and apply a middle-range nursing theory to it that you think fits well. You may use a middle-range nursing theory from your textbook or one you find elsewhere. This is an individual assignment. The goal is a thoughtful piece that explains why you identify with this particular theory. Orem’s Self Care Theory is not accepted to encourage reflection on other theorists. Note the points on ensuring this is free of spelling, grammar, and APA errors are high, at 30% of the assignment.
